American depositary receipts of Asian stocks were trading 0.86% lower at 1,450.08 on the BNY Mellon Asia 50 ADR Index on Tuesday.

In North Asia, the gainers included electronics company Sony (SNE), which climbed 3.8%. They were followed by marketing and branding company Acorn (ATV) and educational services provider Puxin (NEW), which rose 3.8% and 3.7%.

The decliners in North Asia were led by coffee shop chain Luckin Coffee (LK) and news aggregator Qutoutiao (QTT), which fell 4.5% and 4.1% respectively. They were followed by liquid crystal display maker LG Display (LPL) and educational services provider OneSmart (ONE), which lost 3.9% and 3.4%.

In South Asia, the only gainers were IT company SIFY Technologies (SIFY) and telecommunications operator Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLK), which were up 0.2% each.

Automaker Tata Motors (TTM) led the decliners in South Asia, falling 3.4%, followed by mining company Vedanta (VEDL), pharmaceutical firm Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories (RDY), and ICICI Bank (IBN), which dropped 2.7% 2.2%, and 2.1% respectively.
